Pre-Press Stage

Press Stage

Post-Press Stage

  1. Design & Setup

Artwork is created or received in a print-ready digital format (PDF, JPEG, TIFF, etc.).

    Design is checked for:

    • Correct dimensions and bleed

    • Color format (CMYK or RGB depending on printer)

    • Image resolution (usually 300 dpi for quality prints)

  2. Proofing

A digital proof is printed or previewed on screen to check accuracy and layout.

Final adjustments are made before going to print.

  1. Job Submission

The file is sent directly from a computer to the digital printer, eliminating the need for printing plates.

  2. Printing

The digital press (e.g., laser or inkjet) prints the file directly onto paper or other materials.

High-speed machines (e.g., HP Indigo, Xerox, Ricoh) can print full-color or black-and-white jobs in small batches.

  3. Variable Data Printing (optional)

Digital printing allows for personalization, such as changing names, addresses, or QR codes for each copy in a single run.

  1. Finishing Processes

    Cutting & trimming

    Folding

Binding (e.g., saddle stitching, perfect binding, wire binding)

    Laminating, UV coating, or varnishing

Creasing or scoring (if needed for folds)

  2. Quality Control

Final print is inspected for color consistency, sharpness, and alignment.

  3. Packing & Delivery

Final products are packed and prepared for delivery or collection.
