Design & Layout

Content Stage

Proof & Review

  1. Use design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

  2. Set up document with correct:

    • Size and orientation

    • Bleed and trim (typically 3–5mm)

    • Resolution (minimum 300 dpi for print)

    • Color mode (CMYK for print)

  3. Apply grid systems and alignment for a clean layout.

  4. Use vector graphics where possible for scalability.

  1. Insert finalized text content (headlines, body copy, contact info).

  2. Place and position high-resolution images or illustrations.

  3. Ensure proper licensing or ownership of fonts and imagery.

  1. Check for:

    • Spelling, grammar, punctuation

    • Image quality and scaling

    • Alignment, spacing, and consistency

  2. Generate print-ready proofs for internal or client approval.

Proof Approval

Production

  1. Approve a hard copy proof or digital proof provided by the printer.

  2. Check for color accuracy, cropping, and alignment.

  3. Make final adjustments if needed.

  1. Design is printed.

  2. Post-print finishing is applied (cutting, folding, binding, laminating, etc.).

  3. Quality check is performed before packaging and delivery.
